…Scuffs N Buffs come to the rescue
We recently completed an urgent job for a local Corby based company – Swan Innovations. A lorry reversed into the side of one of their vehicles causing extensive damage to the front wing, A-post and the passenger front door.
The van was brought to Scuffs N Buffs for urgent repair work and we were able to turn the job round in an incredible 5 days.
Initial Assessment
As the video shows, the specialist team at Scuffs N Buffs made an initial assessment of the damage to this 2021 Vauxhall Vivaro. This proved extremely difficult as the front passenger door was so badly damaged that it couldn’t be opened.
On close examination, the passenger door had been pushed along to the sliding door and the whole of the front wing needed urgent attention in terms of bodywork and finish.
Completed Work
The photos below show the extent of the damage and the stages of work completed by the expert Scuffs N Buffs team.
Over 5 days, the team had to dismantle panels and parts then replace and / or repair them, ending with a full respray of the passenger side wing. There was lots more repair work to complete than could actually be seen at the initial assessment.
The van was returned to the customer, back to it’s original pristine condition, and they were delighted with the outcome and the speed of the repairs considering the extent of the damage.
